Bonfire!

Chorley Village family bonfire.

Our history is a mixture of fact, folk lore & myth. On the 5th November 1605 Guy Fawkes planned to blow up the

Houses of Parliament as a protest!

Our English heritage defines who we are as a people. The uniquely ‘British’ things we do and enjoy, have special significance in forming our history and our childhood memories.

Meet at the Maize Field next to the Village Hall. Start at 6:15 till around 8:00. Torches, wellies, & warm clothes. Park in the Chapel Car Park or Village Hall car park.

We need a Guy made? There will be a prize for each one brought on the night!

It WILL BE A Grand DISPLAY.

We would really appreciate your help? Please contact organisers Chorley Chapel on 01746 762365 if you would like to help, prepare food, build the fire, or tidying up afterwards on Thursday, contact us as soon as possible.
