Pioneer Centre 11th March at a series of meetings organised by
Steve Robertshaw every six weeks at the Pioneer Centre. They are
non-denominational times of praise and worship followed by a ‘short’ 30
minute message from invited speakers. (I overran! So what’s new. My apologies
to all concerned.)The meetings are called:- Cleobury Worship Together 2003 Steve can be contacted on
01299 271217 The meetings start at 19:30 and finish at 20:30 followed by tea
and coffee and a time to chat and meet folk. Next meeting is April 29th
Tuesday when George Miller International Evangelist with ‘Reconciliation Ministries
Int’ will be the speaker. There will be further
meetings on June 16th, July 15th, Sept 9th,
Oct 14th and Dec 2nd. The Parish review team will be visiting
Chorley Chapel at about 5:00 on Sunday 23rd March to discuss their
project and show us a model of the community while they review the parish
facilities and amenities, with a view to long term planning and improvements
of the village, it’s services and quality of life. What a great idea. At Chorley Chapel we have been praying
over the last year that God would bring ‘Favour’ upon this community. That he
would bless its people, homes, families, farms, business, cattle, live stock,
releasing health and well being. We have prayed for the fields, woods,
schools, children and parents alike. We believe in the power of prayer and
have seen many answers to prayer in the lives of local people we have been
prying for. There are occasions when
we have prayed and so far, have not seen Gods amazing Grace poured out on
those people, yet! We have prayed for marriages, couples who are separated,
children affected by problems in the home. We have prayed for the Kinder
Garden classes that meet in the village hall, the Chorley Show, the Theatre
Group. Be in no doubt this is not just rhetorical prayer. This is
intercession in pray. We are asking God to bless, and restore, and that God
would bring revelation of His great Love to people’s hearts. We are expectant
for ‘Transformational Change’ in this community. We are already giving God
the Glory and praise for what He has done, is doing and will do! |
