A clean sheet. A brand New Year. This is the Year
of The Lords Grace and Favour. We live in an age of the promise of “Good will
towards men.” Are we not privileged? January last year we received copies a
audio tape of a prophetic message brought to us by Graham Cooke via the Holy
Spirit based on the message of Isaiah 61. If you have not heard this message,

and ask me to send you s copy or a transcript. Don’t forget your postal
address if you want a copy of the tape. Is this still the year of the Lords
favour? Yes! Unparalleled, unprecedented favour. That’s what God wants you,
your family, your friends, your neighbourhood, your town, your region, your
country the whole world to catch hold of. He is the God who loves you. He
loves you. He said he wants to lavish His love upon you. Can you live in the
belief of that in 2003? You should, because that’s what he wants you believed
and to know in our heart, mind, body and soul. He loves YOU! What a way to
start a new year. The leaders and members of the chapel are having an
‘away day’ at Badger House in Badger early in January to review and seek
further revelation of what God is saying to them as start this new year. We
are encouraged by the relationships that are being forged with the community
in Chorley and excited about what God might have in mind for us in the year
ahead. 19th January is the firs day of the Week
of Prayer for Christian Unity. Jesus is building His Church. We are not
building His. Alan Vincent is speaking at Oldbury Church on Sunday Morning.
Bill Bromley of Stottesdon Church is speaking at Chorley Chapel in the
evening. Nonny James of Radio Shropshire is speaking at Lacon
Child School at 7:30PM Friday 24th January She present “Show me
the Cross” Ticket Price £2.00 Call 01299 270415 after 5pm for further
details. The event is organised by Cleobury Mortimer Churches Together. An
Evening of her music and the stories behind the songs. On Saturday 25th January at 7:30PM there
will a Burns Supper at the Chorley Village Hall. Tickets are £5.00 for Adults
and £2.00 for Children. This is a local event. Have a great evening. Chorley Chapel will be hosting the New
Life Church from Cleobury Mortimer as Arthur Johnson preaches at this
Baptismal service. Service time is as usual evening service. Tea and Cakes at
5:30, Service starts 6:30. A time of celebration singing and praise for
another life committed to Jesus. Praise God. Our usual Tuesday evening fellowship
meeting is cancelled in favour of attending the two Lifting Jesus Higher
