Special Evening Gift Service. To undertake the refurbishment of our car park area with the help of our friends at Willowdene Farm. This event raised the full money for the car park refurbishment. The work will be starting in the immediate future. What a great success this event was. Chapel members helped set up the marquees on the Friday and Saturday along with the rest of the village helpers. It was great. We met so many people. I was amazed at how much local people knew about the building its décor and history. The Chorley Show Group have a great web site and its well worth a visit next year. www.chorleyshow.f9.co.uk Membership evening together, to discuss a possible Alpha course and other activities for the rest of 2002. We met at the Ducks and had a great meal. The food at the Ducks was superb and such service and value. We had a great meeting and planned the forth quarter of the years. Details below. Two substantial donations were made at the Chorley village hall on October 11th. The money will go towards the Bell restoration at St Mary’s Stottesdon, and for improvements to Chorley Village Hal itself. What a blessing it is when brothers dwell together in unity. Psalm 133.
