Our Vision

"To receive and live in Gods Love, pursue
wholeness and share both with the
people of Chorley and beyond.”

That statement is at the core of our vision. It is like a mission statement, but not something, like so many mission statements, that gets forgotten over time.

The reality of our vision is to Love Him, let Him make us whole, and then do what he tells us to do.

It's about building the Kingdom of God and seeing people discover Jesus and His Power and Love for them, as a result of that they may wish to join a church organization; they may not. But the Chorley Chapel doors will always be open to them.

Key Leadership values and aims:-

As leaders of the Chapel, Sue and I would encourage and promote wholeness and openness with, and within those in the leadership of the Chapel. By coming together as God’s healed and whole people, we will share what we have received and learned with those in the fellowship, to equip them, and us, for the works of service for which God has called us together in this place.

Ephesians 4 v15

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
