Alan and Sue lead a House Church, Home Group, Life Group, whatever you would like to call it. It's a church, on the Scotland's in Wolverhampton! The local founding leaders of the group came to know the Lord through there stays at the Chorley Caravan Park. The group started in their home in Wednesfield and has migrated to the Scotland's where there is a wonderful opportunity to minister Gods love and pray blessing on a needy community.
Some weeks ago one of the group heard the lady opposite had been diagnosed with cancer and she and the family were devastated, he wanted us all (about 10 of us) to go over and pray for her. She agreed and they called Sue and I and told us of his plan. As we drove to Wolverhampton that Thursday evening, We felt God leading us to the story of when He sent out the 12 and the 72 disciples. I really wanted to go in my heart with the group, and was happy for them to go if the lady was happy for us to be there, but felt more and more, "No you stay, and send them out!" Although not a Christian, the lady was happy for us to go, and was willing for us to pray for her. By the time I got to House Group meeting I was convinced God was saying "Send them out as Jesus sent out His disciples" So I told them what I felt and we read the passages about the sending out and prayed. I spoke to them about the conferred blessing and anointing on their lives and that they were going with Gods anointing, and the power and blessing that Jesus had conferred on them through his stripes. Over they went! We (the rest of us) stayed behind giving thanks to God for what he was going to do and singing and worshiping Him.
Well the evening went on, and no sign of them coming back! Eventually they came in dribs and drabs, with such tales of what had happened. They had prayed for the lady with cancer and she was aware something was going on in side. One of her daughters had asked about becoming a Christian and was saved that night! Today is the day of salvation.
The Group kept in touch with the family and the weeks went by and we prayed whenever the Spirit led us to.
Last Friday 31st August we had a phone call to tell us the lady who had had cancer, had been to hear the results of the latest tests, and been told that "There was no trace of cancer in her body!"
Praise God! Come on and Celebrate! (We did!!!) Wonderful Isn't He! Isn't He wonderful! What a mighty God we server. We give You all the honour and praise that's due Your Name. If You are lifted up, You will draw all men to yourself. Make it so Lord. Show your Power. If we don't cry out in praise the very stones will!!
Amen.

Update Jan 08. Carole has been diagnosed with a new cancer in her lungs. An aggressive type we are told, and has been given a very poor prognosis. Our response, pray, believe, do not doubt, trust the God who does GOOD work, to finish what he started. Do not give the enemy one seconds joy in this. Defy that tumor its right to exist in Jesus Name. Command it to wither and die. Resolve to see Carole healed TOTALY to the Glory of the Father. Amen.
Update 08 Sadly Carol died of the new cancer and thankfully had made a commitment to the Lord Jesus and he to her. WE are in Faith that she is now with Jesus in Paradise awaiting the Glorious day when the Sons of God will be revealed. To God be the Glory. We keep the family in our prayers and thank God for Stuart a member of our group and neighbour who has kept in touch with the family since.
