See Phots of       Chorley Gardens Open Day
The Chapel as it was in the 1920’s. It is now surrounded by mature trees plus there is an extension to the rear (left) of the Chapel

The interior of Chorley Chapel as it was in the 1920’s. The heating system has been superseded by an all electric bar heater system. The platform balustrade was removed some years ago leaving an open platform under which is a fully functional baptistery. The floor was levelled and carpeted. The pews were removed and replaced by linked individual chairs.

Above two pictures courtesy of Mrs Hilda Fletcher and her son David. With thanks.

The next picture was taken by a young lady from Australia on the evening of the 13th January 2002. She was part of a team from the Toronto School of Ministry who were leading us that evening. On leaving the Chapel she had been so aware of the presence of God’s Spirit in the building that even though it was totally dark sh wanted something of a keepsake of a very special evening. Many weeks later when her films were developed she e-mailed us a copy of this amazing picture. (We added the words, and have used it extensively since.)
