Kingdom, a whole new mind set

A Kingdom perspective.
Throughout the Gospels Jesus is heard to say "The Kingdom of Heaven is like....." and would then go on to illustrate some deep truth about a Kingdom we could only grapple with at our finger tips. As we have come to understand Jesus teaching more fully we are realising he was inviting, inspiring, visualising a whole new paradigm shift in spirituality for each one of us.

The Kingdom

is in me!

He also said the Kingdom is within you. Luke 17 v 21. I used to puzzle about this verse until I realised that on the night before Jesus died he prayed " that all of them (those who believe) may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they (all who believe) also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. " (Italic) added to clarify.

The Kingdom

is here, now,

for me?

Jesus is helping us to understand He was always 'in the Kingdom,' wherever he was, because he was one with his Father, and he is also one with us (who believe) and therefore he is in us and we are in him then we too are Kingdom people. Everything that Jesus said about the Kingdom, can be aspired to, and appropriated by us in Jesus Name, as we seek to be know him, to draw close to him, to be like Him and to surrender to His Spirit which has been placed in all who believe.

How does

this change

my life?

So what does Kingdom living look like? We are called to build the Kingdom. We are called to draw people into the Kingdom. We are called to live out Kingdom values and be witnesses for the Kingdom. To serve the King as a beloved friend and brother who will lead us to the Father. To see the King releasing signs and wonders in us and through us to bear witness to His Kingship and Lordship over our lives. To fill us with his Love and a true sense of being loved not only by Jesus but by the Father who adores each one of us, as we live out our life moment by moment as dearly beloved sons (and daughters who have the same rights as a son).

Our Spiritual

being is

seated in

Heavenly

places,

and

His Spirit

lives in us.

For example, our focus rooted and grounded in love, must be Jesus, and through Him the Father, as we are empowered by the Spirit. Jesus only did what he saw the Father doing and only said what he heard the Father saying. We are in him interceding on behalf of situations on the earth, He is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us, the father is empowering the Spirit to act on our behalf to do the things we ask in Jesus name.
One Church?

Our focus is Kingdom centered not this local church or 'that' church or 'this,' or that denomination! Wow! This is getting serious. Am I drawing people in to the Kingdom and gathering the lost, refreshing and renewing them and nurturing them, disciple them, and eventually steering them into a living body or Spirit filled church for them, or are some just building their or our church? Or even involved with a form or religion that denies the Power? I hope not. I think the people of this age are sick of powerless religion. Jesus came in order that we might have LIFE!

All we are is

centered on

building the

Kingdom.

Am I happy to work with anyone who is seeking the Truth? Even if they stay in their own church? As long as their minister is happy for them to be involved with a Kingdom building focus. This is what the "One True Church of Jesus Christ" is all about. Kingdom! The gates of hell will not

prevail over this church.
